Sometimes I forget how ridiculous this show was

television peaked when ouat released those dvd extras with ads for storybrooke businesses, a silly little clip of regina telling everyone to watch out for wicked witches, and an entire ass news program that included a weather report man getting terrorized by wolves, dr whale giving very upsetting relationship advice, grumpy having an incredibly awkward reunion with his ex girlfriend, and belle learning that all the books she only read half of have terribly sad endings

Anyone notice how the first time we see Emma in feminine clothing, back when we're first introduced to her, it's because she's acting. Yk, playing to the role of this woman that the other guy had met online. So. Not being herself. And then they proceeded to put her in feminine clothes in the later seasons like that wasn't trying to tell us something

They unnecessarily tried to overfeminize her in S6 when Emma was already so feminine. She wore skirts throughout the series but even in jeans she had style. She was a tomboy but she wore scarves, fun boots and even jewelery and makeup. By S6 she looked so tired because they lost her long eyelashes and dulled down her makeup overall. I still have no idea why .
