Music Is The Answer

OK, so this isn't music related at all - well it kinda is (bear with me!), there's a musical link in here somewhere.

My good friend @thomlafferty is a huge NFL fan and while I've always been interested, it's never really been at the forefront of my sporting schedule. I like to think I'm slightly more of a fan than the average Joe in the UK, but it's tough to keep up with the games and team news; I struggle doing that with the Premier League these days and that's a sport I've followed since I can remember.

Anyhow, Thom is a Steelers fan (he's also from the UK, I should add) and has an interesting story of how he came to support them (in an "I'm from the UK, so how the hell do I choose a team" kinda way), he's told me how at least 5 times and yet I'm struggling to remember (sorry Thom), it could be just that they were the 1st team he ever saw play, or it might be something way more poetic, but anyway, he's a Steelers fan and has been regularly telling me that I should also select a team to support. How am I meant to do that though? As a Brit living in the UK, who has never ventured across the pond to the States, it's not a straightforward decision. As far as I could tell, my options were thus:

Pick a team...

1) Completely at random 2) Based on the best name 3) Based on the best strip/badge 4) From the city I'd most like to visit 5) Attempt some loose connection to a team and pretend that it was "fate" that I supported them

Bondax - Baby I Got That (on Just Us / Relentless)

Quite possibly my favourite tune of the summer, or even of the year. Smooth, funky and soulful, with incredible production and vocals, what more can you ask for to chillax on a warm summer afternoon, or to provide the soundtrack to your weekend? After Disclosure blew me away with their constant flow of incredible tracks, which felt like a non-stop barrage of dancefloor funk, outdoing themselves time after time, I found myself asking if anything would move and amaze me more than they already had. Although I didn't think it was possible at the time, a short time later Bondax have released their latest (and best IMHO) track "Baby I Got That", which combines an incredibly catchy vocal hook, with some of the sexiest beats and melodies I've heard in quite some time. It is quite simply, awesome.
