Megatron’s not fumbling this time

My soulamate (@booksnblocks) and I decided we want to focus on Gem and Pearl and put them in an unfortunate situation. We came to a rain event + ocean rise + abnormal plant growth apocalypse AU. Overall I would describe it as quite slice-of-life-y (for now) and, as Gem would put it, feels like "a cozy horror game".

Overview as follows:

They were forced to move due to flooding and come across an abandoned theme park. This is the place where they will settle and do what they can with the resources they've got.

And how could we ever do this without GemPearl moments... <3

The main focus at first was actually the abnormal plant growth. There's nothing supernatural about it, it's just plants, but there's still many dangers they pose. Like growing so fast they entrap you or ruin your shelter or making pitfalls you wouldn't even know are there.

And jumping a little bit ahead of the plot, we also decided the first member to join their party is Grian. Who they find collecting coins behind cotton candy machines. As one does in an apocalypse.
