Trevor chuckled lightly at the words, shaking his head as he listened. "I don't mind at all. In fact I'm glad you get along with them. It makes my slow and steady plan to woo you all the easier that you already like my family." It was said in a mock tease, though he figured part of it must have been true considering he really did want to woo Isaac. He just hoped his brothers didn't end up ruining that for him; unintentionally of course. He knew they wouldn't maliciously fuck up something good that would come his way, but he did have fears. River had already confessed feelings towards the wheeled individual, and it seemed that even though he and Isaac were on better terms, things weren't back to usual yet. He hoped that wouldn't be a damper on anything, but still, it was there in his mind that it could be or that River might harbor some jealousy.
"Fine, fine. I'll just stop by quickly to pick up my books and read all alone in my cold, dark room." His voice got overly dramatic as he said that, each word coming out with a silent laughter attached. He was just trying to be a little shit and knew he wouldn't do anything to fuck with Isaac's work. It would be just as bad as if Isaac had come swimming every day at the pool and distracted him from life guarding. He'd be okay with it to an extent, but he knew his work would suffer from it. "No more alcohol poisoning for you. Nope. I refuse, though getting drunk is fun. Moderation, Nemo. You can't drink like the fish you are."
He let out a laugh that was probably louder than he intended, shaking his head as he looked up at the sky. "I would be a fine ass teacher, but still. It feels like I'm following in all my brother's footsteps, yanno? I want to be different. I don't want to follow a trend." He said that with a distant tone to his voice, mostly because he didn't even know what he would do other than teach. Sure he could swim, and he loved the water, but there were just some things he could and couldn't do with it. He disliked science courses, so a degree in marine biology or oceanography was out of the question, but everything that was water was scientific. "I think you'd be pretty damn good at anything you try, honestly. You've got that kind of personality where as long as you go into something you like, you'll do it well."
His eyes looked over at Isaac, gaze captivated by the boy next to him. He thought about how weird it must be for the smaller boy to be in a wheel chair when his powers involved super speed and running. His legs must have been his livelihood, and now they were just null and void for the most part. "Hey, Isaac." He said, biting the inside of his lip as he looked back up at the sky. "I don't want to upset you, but do you miss running?" He looked back up at the sky, letting the question mull over for a second. "I just couldn't even fathom what it's been like for you, and the fact that you're still here, still smiling and laughing? That takes serious strength, more strength than I probably have, and it's really... I can't even find the right word, but it's so... empowering I guess you could say. You don't let things get to you, or at least show it, and it's really really awesome."
