A major part of the tumblr rp experience is refreshing the dash and see your mutual roleplaying with someone else. Or maybe they're answering asks, reblogging musing posts, making an OOC post here and there. However, there will be times where you are waiting on a plot, an ask, or a roleplay to be responded to and you see your partner interacting or engaging more with other people.

Again, the mind is a cruel thing. Inadequacy, jealousy, general anxieties stem up sometimes, it's part of being human. But what's important is how you act on these emotions. Please remind yourself that sometimes, things take time. Not all plots go somewhere. Sometimes, someone may not be feeling their muse for that rp. Maybe they just got really busy. Thousands of reasons, but none of them have anything to do with how much they like you as a person.

And that's okay. This isn't homework-- People should be allowed to pin down what they want to write and write it as they please. If you really want specific interactions, you can always send ic / anonymous asks to muses. You can make your own starter calls. Please don't put all of your eggs into one basket, as you will come to resent the people who don't immediately refill it. Don't be a goob, you have people who enjoy you AND your writing.

A cruel joke really , a world where physics don't apply leaving some to test the limits . But where one's curiosity lingers disappointment is not far behind , and while she knows betters than to disturb him her soaking form manages to slump in the chair opposite of him , seaweed tangled in her feathers , struggling to preen them out .

It wasn't often that Flower Kingdom saw new faces. Everyone who was needed was already here and had been for quite some time. The presence of someone new wasn't all that foreign, but they tended to stay around for such a short amount of time that they'd never get a proper, warm welcome. A shame, really. Something Flowery's always said was that this place was perfect. Yellow, alongside the rest of the flo-- humans, agreed completely with him. At least with nobody staying around, things could continue being perfect. It avoided the possibility of a newcomer stirring up trouble, which would make things imperfect. But alas, that worldview came with its own misgivings. In order to protect the, well, order that prospered in the kingdom, everything had to stay the status quo. It made Yellow sometimes feel antsy, itching for something new. New didn't necessarily mean something bad. In fact, it could bring about a plethora of wonderful possibilities! It was safer to not tempt fate, but as Yellow was walking through the outskirts of the kingdom, an unfamiliar figure tempted fate for him. For all of them. Without a second thought, Yellow jumped to action and swiftly approached the, unbeknownst to him, Lightner.

"O-Oh jeez, miss," the cowboy tried, eyes widening at the sight of the woman laying on the ground. She'd muttered something about side effects then. What was that supposed to mean? Or, to better phrase it, what was causing it? Yellow knelt beside Eileen and offered her his hand to help prop her up. "What'd ya take t' get youse feelin' and fallin' so dramatically? Ohs, there's got's to be a cure or... or somethin' or another!" Yellow inched in just a bit to examine her face closely and to ask her a question. "There anythin' I can do? I hafta do somethin' fer a fair maiden!"

Indeed , as is one's childhood . Things were much simpler then , carefree and whatnot ⸻ but like all good things they must come to an end , and memories of a world centered in pride were wiped in favor of responsibility . Everyone she once knew , gone . Friends , crew mates , it's like she never existed .

Safe to say his words confused her , but judging by his tone they were likely implemented to what they had to endure nowadays . If not cards certainly bills , neither are pleasant .

" Nostalgia comes in many forms , knowledge as well . I do wish I'd made different choices in my adolescence , maybe half the shit that happened to me would've been avoided back then . "
