Love me while your wrists are bound

🎀 naeun is definitely a big acts of service person; she helps without needing to be asked and tends to express her love, gratitude, and all other things through her actions. she's by no means in a position to aid others financially and can't necessarily afford to do most of what she'd like to do, so she'll hand make or thrift or repair things by herself where she can. she leaves very human marks on everything she does, she's always a little clumsy, but you can guarantee there will be a heartfelt note attached that's written on some cute stationery, since she's actually very shy and prefers to do these things quietly.

it's been very important to her to give back and take care of others because of how her community took care of her and her father after her mother's passing, so i guess in a way she feels like there's this infinite debt to be paid. but she's grown to enjoy it, it gives her purpose. it's really important to her that no one suffers needlessly, even if it inconveniences her.

🗯️ she grew up very sensitive and emotional (*coughs* she still is *coughs*) so tears were pretty much guaranteed whenever kids messed with her back then, but as an adult naeun actually has a decent sense of humour (albeit dark right now). as long as you're not being mean or spiteful, she'll laugh it off. she's not immune to being scared, though. she may actually cry then. and maybe make a lightbulb or two explode. but mostly cry. then kick the culprit in the shins real hard.

🍂 naeun isn't a very... creative person. like, laughably so. ask her to draw a photo of a cat and she'll hand you the most ridiculous looking stick figure abomination. that being said, i don't think this one applies to her 💀

🏃 it really depends on the situation. if she's defending someone she cares about (which is one of the very rare occasions naeun actually gets angry), she'll fight. she's like a little chihuahua and most people aren't intimidated until she opens her mouth and starts cursing them and their ancestors. get her a little tipsy and you'll have to carry her out of the bar under your arm before they call the cops.

interpersonal conflict and arguments can lead to either flight or freeze, which i'd say, given how rare it is for her to fight, are her strongest instincts. she avoids conflict in general but if she's caught up in it, she starts to shut down. she'll become paralysed or she'll have to get out of there immediately — especially when something hurtful is said (goes both ways, from her or the other party).

💰 for the longest time growing up, naeun didn't understand she couldn't just... take whatever she wanted from her father's store whenever she pleased. years passed where he'd do inventory and the same snacks and drinks would come up missing (naeun's favourites... strange), always the same amount too. they live in a good neighbourhood so there was never any reason to have any strict security measures or to suspect anyone in particular, but it got worse when she started working there, to the point where they were starting to lose money.
