I still really need to get the hang out of making grayscales, but I’m sure I will get better as I go on! At academy I’ve been told so much about colours, but no one talked about grayscales. >:C My aesthetic! Where is it!!

Also, I’ve always wanted Henry to make a summary of some sort via drawings. I’m so glad I managed to make this turn into reality!

ATTENTION ATTENTION… IT’S TAG ALONG TIME.

Hey there! Long time no talking about this comic, eh? Sorry, my fault. Life happened, and I had to drop the Tag Along for a long while, which made me also feel pretty discouraged - motive why I kinda tended to avoid talking about the comic since the last update. But I never left behind the idea of taking it back whenever possible, and I’m glad to announce - THE TIME HAS COME!

For the short version, here what’ll happen: the Tag Along will restart, but from scratch. The next pages you will see will begin from a different point in time and go from there (if you’re interested in the reasons, they will be written below!).

I WILL POST EVERY SATURDAY, AT 6.00 PM GMT+1, ONE PAGE PER WEEK. They will be posted here on this blog, and reblogged on @tagalongcomic - so, if you’re interested in just the comic, tune there! And this time life won’t stop me!

When I could finally take the Tag Along back, a long time had passed, and I got a bit more experienced in both storytelling and drawing. My style had changed quite a lot in many things, and despite I loved the story I wanted to tell before, I knew I could do it even a little better. So, I basically restarted almost from scratch, and now I’m much more ready to tackle the story. The biggest work went on the beginning. Despite being born with the idea of being a retelling of BATIM but with a twist, I didn’t really like the idea of drawing the first two chapters, as they are practically identical to the ones in the game, minor the twist. I also wanted to stick as much as possible to the game, which was quite limiting me, so at some point I tried to divert form the story and see where it would lead me. After all, the Tag Along IS based around an alternative universe, and things definitely end going differently. Eventually, the story formed much better in my head, and I realized that the best point to start wasn’t the beginning, nor the twist (though I can’t wait to draw that part!), but it’s the calm moment after it - basically, the beginning of BATIM’s chapter 3.

But don’t worry, I will still tell the different version of the sacrifice scene. Just… in another moment, and from a much different point of view. Now, we can’t see the entire story only from Henry’s point of view, can we? :3c
