Hello everyone ! Do you want a beautiful cutout watching you in your little 30 m² apartment ? You are in the right place !
The materials :
EVA Foam, Ultra High Density - 7 mm
EVA Foam, Low Density - 5 mm
Fiberglass bar
Contact Cement
Hot Glue
Ochre acrylic paint
Black acrylic paint
Cutter
Rotary Tool
Of course there are cosplayer materials, you can use thin & thick cardboard. Our first cutout was made of cardboard and it looked good.
The stages of creation :
Make a pattern. Most important step ! Especially if you used expensive material, and if you want create many of them. I know a lot of people skip this step. I was the first to leave this part out, lazy cosplayer that I was. I give to you measurements and a little sketch.
2. Trace your pattern on the foam, you have to got a good cutter for this part because the foam is hard to cut. Be precise in the cut. Don’t forget to cut the spaces between the hands and the legs.
3. You may notice that your sign is all flabby. To solve this problem you have to glue some high density foam ( or cardboard ) on the back. For more of solidity, carve a slot with the rotary tool to put a fiberglass stick inside the EVA foam. Finally you can glue the solid piece onto the back of the cutout.
4. With a Posca or a thick marker, you can trace the drawing of the magnificent little devil darling. Do not hesitate to ask me questions in the /ask if you are missing measurements. After that you can have fun with painting, and adding texture. Mine is not finished, for I have to make details of wood and inkstains.
TA-DA ! Your Bendy Cutout is finished ! if you want to put it against a wall, you can. Otherwise I will explain in a future post how to make a handle to carry it with you like Sammy does. I will probably add directions on how to make it stand upright too in the near future.

I know i'm falling behind, but i would like to show you designs i'm proud of rather than quick to build and unfinished designs so for this design
I present the inktober 7.fancy. this abilled skeleton in 18th century style. as you know i love this era so i had fun! I listened to mama from My Chemical Romance to do it. this music inspired me!
therefore the theme is blade for this drawing of the inktober I chose AltaĂŻr from the first assassin's creed because he has a lot of blade:
his sword,
his dagger,
his throwing knife
and his secret blade.
it is therefore in Jerusalem that's why I wrote in Arabic (a language that I just started studying) and in Yiddish. I used the henna designs for the assassin creed logo designs. and feathers to represent the emblem of assassin's creed: the eagle!

I fucking hated this. I despise moths and all their colours.
Still, I made a shit ton of references :
the very simplified moths to echo the flies in The Binding Of Isaac.
The TV is from Moth Into Flame music video.
The colours are taken from the Atlas Moth, and that’s why I listened to "Atlas, Rise !" as well while doing this.
The goopy side is directly taken from the Delirium, also from Isaac. ( I played as a warmup, I fucking died because of a god forsaken fly on steroids in the depths. )
And as my friend reminded me to, I put a little crown on its head ( fancy~ ), and I thank him for that. ´cause, well, it’s the prince.
As for the musics ! There’s a lot of them today.
fourth inktober! the theme is radio. I absolutely wanted to make a little sammy who is waiting for his time to transform while listening to the radio. Small reference for my love: the sheets are pieces of the scores of nothing else matters by metallica
I listened St. Anger album for the first time while doing that drawing, that’s why my lines are so straight.
I stabbed my own tablet to death while singing "Fran-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tock !" and head banging. I’m sorry, little one.
Then came the coloration, and I switched to something calmer : Sacrificial, my favorite The Binding of Isaac OST. Very good game, and even funnier while playing with friends.
I present to you my third inktober, at the beginning I thought to draw an imposing beast over a city, but I remembered that now it is the reverse in our society, buildings and waste are much bigger and more numerous than animals. this megalopolis having grown so much that it arrives in the desert in the natural environment of elephants. I hope you like this drawing tomorrow for the next inktober!
