i’d say the majority of the fandom is trying to switch over to “hws” bc not only is it the name of the most recent series in hetalia (world stars), but it moves away from using the term “axis powers” which i don’t think i really need to explain why lol. i know some people who still use aph and some who use both, but honestly it was worth it for me to switch over if it made ppl uncomfortable. and i know there’s been a lot of antisemitism in the fandom in recent years so it hopefully helps w that i think. might seem silly since it WAS the actual name of hetalia but that was long ago and i think “hws” it’s a good swap.

OH yeah no that makes sense. i did wonder if it was something like that. tbh that in mind i might switch my url around? think the current one has a better sort of ring to it but tbh not worth keeping it around if the fandom is making an active effort to distance itself from the nazi focus of the original. thanks for the input man, really good to know!!
