I love birds and their cages, not because they look beautiful or cool, but because even though they are caged, they are free from people's taunts, scolds, shouting, physical abuse, and heavy workloads even they receives people's love and care
As a woman, life is much more difficult and restrictive. Our lives are different from birds because we are caged but not free. We have to constantly endure people's taunts, scoldings, and shouting, and our shoulders are heavy with the burden of endless work. On top of that, constant worry about the future never allows us to feel truly liberated.
That is why birds, despite being in a cage, are still free, while women, despite being 'free,' are more trapped than any bird. We cannot speak freely or do the things we love without always needing someone else's permission.
The only difference between birds and women is that birds are confined within cages, while women, despite being free in their own homes, remain imprisoned. Captivity isn’t just about lacking the freedom to go somewhere, the true imprisonment lies in the way their emotions, feelings, and desires are suppressed. Before making even the smallest decision, they have to think a hundred times, fearing that people will gossip about them or taunt them.
A human being naturally makes mistakes and learns from those very mistakes. However, if a woman makes even a minor mistake here, the fear of taunts forces her to restrict her words to just a simple 'yes' and 'agreed', solely to avoid being judged.
At the very least, birds have the comfort that, despite being in a cage, they can sing and express themselves however they want. Even if they mess things up or move things around, people don't scold them; instead, they shower them with love. But humans neither give love, nor do they give a woman the chance to correct her mistakes.
