و إن نصر الله الذين كانوا قليلين على كثيرٍ من الأعداء في سبيله،
And If Allah granted victory to those who were few against many enemies in his path
أفلا ينصرك على عدو واحد منك
Will he not aid you against a single enemy of yours (nafs)
لو سألتَه بإخلاصٍ ورجاء؟
If you ask him with sincerity and hope?
- التهجد هُوَ الأَمَلِ حِينَمَا يَبْدُو كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بَائِسًا
- 𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐣𝐣𝐮𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬.
You must have a daily portion of the Qur'an. Never neglect it. Never let a day pass without reciting the Qur'an. Allah is the happiness and blessing of your day, and your greatest achievement. Without Him, your soul withers and you suffer!
The hardships that draw you closer to Allāh عز وجل carry a sweetness that nothing in this world can compare to. سبحان الله through every trial you understand again and again, that you truly have no one but Allāh عز وجل. And that He alone can understand the pain within your heart. You will never truly feel happy without the closeness of Allāh عز وجل.
Even if that closeness means being alone… even if it means isolation, total silence. WAllahi, I find myself longing for the moments of sadness and heartbreak certain trials caused me. Because every hardship brought me closer to my Rabb. It felt like Jannah in this dull dunya.
And those who taste the sweetness of iman once, no matter how far they drift, they spend their lives longing for that peace again.

Sometimes Being Alone Brings More Peace
Sometimes the peace we’re looking for isn’t in people, but in being alone, where our heart can finally breathe.
Ibn Qudāmah رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ said:
“Loneliness saves you from the evil of the people.”
[Mukhtasar Minhaj al-Qasidin | 113]
سُئل الإمامُ الشافعي: إذا كانَ الله يرمينا بِسهام القدر فكيفَ لنا بالنجاة؟
قال: "كُن بجوار الرامي تنجو".
Imam Al-Shafi’i was asked: If Allah shoots us with the arrows of qadar then how can we be saved?
He answered: “Stand next to the Archer [Allah] and you will be spared”
