Those are some segments from the video, “Solomon Palace" which I translated and/or summarized. It was broadcasted in 2005 in Japan. As the program ran for almost 45 minutes, those are merely a small portion of the video.

♪ Yoshiki admitted (when they were disbanding) that he was pissed off at ToshI that he was splitting. He felt betrayed as they were friends since a kindergarten, before him being the vocalist (of X’s). He was so hurt.. *__*。He didn’t even want to do the Last Live. The Last Live was done just for his (their) fans♥ As the Last Live progressed, though in pain, Yoshiki was able to cherish and praise the fact that they had performed the best music together♪

♪ (When you see Yoshiki becoming silent in an interview in the beginning) He was asked about hide; how he feels. He just said at the end (in pain) “I don’t know..“ *Please don’t ask this kind of question ever please..!! (←by me) ( *｀ω´) (mad)

♪ When Yoshiki conducted an orchestra at the Aichi eXpo, he didn’t use a baton. Because he is also a performer in his heart, he wanted people to feel another (soundless) sound through his (pianist’s) fingers. Earlier, he was joking that he may end up doing some of the Karate moves when conducting an orchestra as he practices Karate.. (*´艸`*)

♪ When Yoshiki hits a wall, he enjoys going for an aimless drive. While driving, Yoshiki said, “I love music so much. I think this is why I’m able to continue it. I’ve been recording abnormally a lot.. I get mad because the achievement is not equivalent to an amount of time I put into it. Composing music is different.. So.. It’s so hard that I feel like (deliberately) hitting my head against the wall over and over.” *___*

♪ Yoshiki drove to the sea near Santa Monica.

(Despite his image) Yoshiki said, “I love nature. I am a nature’s child.“ “I was raised near the sea. I love the sea. I do come to the sea often. I imagine it directly.. or rather, I am probably absorbing something from it (the ocean) in some ways. And that will be expressed in the form of a sound♫•*¨*•.¸¸♪✧, I think.”

Surprisingly, the sea he visits to heal his heart is an ordinary one. It probably reminds him of the sea in Tateyama where he grew up *___*

♪ Yoshiki’s castle was produced by Yoshiki. It’s designed in a way that.. in the main room on the 1st floor, wherever one sits, the roses in the garden can be seen by the person ♥__♥

2nd floor: There’s a massage space - where he calls in a masseur so he can relaX♥

The training room - where he almost tortures his body working out. He started working out as he always got hurt being “X.“ Once he goes in to the training room, he won’t usually come out for 2~3 hours ♥

The work room - to compose music. Furnished mostly in black & white. Mainly visited by music & business partners.

The monotoned bedroom with a balcony overlooking the garden ♥

The Mirror Hall leading to the princess☆ bathroom designed by Yoshiki♪ He can take a jet bath in the sun♪ (← oh no, vampire..💦)

At night his castle gets lit up in all over the place.

♪ Dialogues at Yoshiki’s Pool Side Q: “When do you swim?” Yoshiki: “In early morning or when I’m drunk.“ “I sometime push people into the pool..”

When Yoshiki had a BBQ party at his former house, he said he once pushed hide into the deep pool.. hide was half drowned, and Yoshiki had to rescue him from the water. Yoshiki didn’t know that hide could not swim too well..

♪ On Yoshiki’s (former) studio, a true jewel box♥ filled with jewels of instruments and equipment:

Some of the most notable vintage items include the Steinway grand piano Yoshiki acquired from the Carnegie Hall (approximately $200,000 in price) and the wooden synthesizers used by the legend, Pink Floyd. All equipment is colored in black by Yoshiki♪
