A while back, I made a post that gained some traction called Why You Should Listen To The Homebrood.

Now, I’m here to tell you why you should totally still listen to us, but also follow us elsewhere!

Today, Tumblr announced a completely daft approach to their pedo/philia problem in the form of scrubbing all NS/FW content from the site. This is their dumb attempt to appeal to the Apple Store to get their app back on the store after it was discovered that child porno/graphy was being posted to Tumblr. 

As most of us know by now… Pedo/philes, Nazis, Hate Groups, and all sorts of disgusting people have been frequenting this website for a long time. Despite the community’s pleas to ban these people, Tumblr let it get out of hand until Apple had to make an executive decision to pull Tumblr’s app off their app store… yeah. It got that bad! 

Nazis, TERFs, and other Hate Groups are still allowed here, but now “female presenting nipples” and NS/FW content have got to go. This negatively impacts se/x workers, responsible NS/FW content creators, and everyone in between. This negatively impacts SFW blogs and creators too, as a massive portion of tumblr’s userbase will be leaving due to this decision. 

As much as I’d love to bail completely on this site and it’s heinous decisions and greedy practices, we do have a decent following here. As a result, I have to stick around until we build up a following elsewhere. We need your help to do that. 

This blog is a side blog attached to my main. I’m going to do my best to scrub this and my main blog of any NS/FW content, in hopes I don’t get banned. It’s important you follow us elsewhere in the event this happens!

Later developments from early 20th century (Agatha Christie and such): similarly, police is stupid and easily tricked by criminals, and smart amateurs have to save the day

around 1930s ‘hardboiled’ and noir fiction: police are every bit and corrupt and detestable as criminals, and sometimes ARE the gangsters. These are almost entirely realistic, as they’re often written from actual experiences of real private detectives

1940s, vigilante detective fiction like Batman and the Shadow: where as always, police is portrayed as at worst corrupt and at best useless, and it’s up to brilliant people in masks to solve crimes

1950s: SUDDENLY with Dragnet, police are all brilliant crimefighter heroes who solve all the crimes, and are Always Lawful Good, and criminals are Always Chaotic Evil

onwards: 80-90% of detective fiction is about cops, and usually follows the Dragnet formula (e.g. stuff like CSI)

Thesis: police procedural is a predatory creation that has co-opted the notoriously anti-cop genre of detective fiction, whose primary starting idea was that cops were little more than thugish brutes, unsuited to subtle scientific art of solving crimes, and turned it into shallow propaganda.

Sorry this has like.. nothing to do with color palettes, but I found this 3D program really neat :0! If you are Very Bad at UV mapping like i am but wanna make cute low poly things, this looks pretty easy to use! I believe the creator is giving out free keys on their forums.

I got the test copy of Unbound: Volume 2! It’s got comic scenes, sketches, and session summaries from the second year of our D&D campaign, including a new 10-page comic! I’ll have it and the first volume for sale at Hal-Con this year, and online sales in November. Keep an eye out! :D

- Communication doesn’t work on bullies. Telling a bully they’re making you feel bad is the wrong way to go. They want to make you feel bad. That’s the point.

- being kind to a bully doesn’t always mean they’ll stop. Sometimes it means they’ll just use your kindness to manipulate you while still continuing to bully you.

- not every bully has a sympathetically tragic home life. Sometimes people are just mean. Sometimes people just get off on hurting others.

- on that note, a tough home life is a reason, not an excuse. You don’t have to put up with bullying because somebody’s life sucks, just like you don’t have to let someone mug you because they’re broke.

- in order to forgive someone, they have to apologize first. If your bully has not apologized to you, you do not owe them anything.

- getting bullied as a kid can still mess you up in adult life. Maybe kids grow out of being bullies, but the marks they left often don’t go away.

- there are ways to get people to stop bullying you, but they almost all involve being mean back.

He can change reality but he uses it to fake his death and do a power point presentation?

He has the time stone, in which he could literally go back in time and save his home planet ….not by killing half of them …but by using these new powers?

Okay but it ISN’T bad writing, though.
