"Barely." With a huff, Nero stuffed his thumbs into his pockets, frowning. "You don’t exactly give off tough guy vibes, y’know, they’d take advantage of you."

  "Yes." Nero sighed, pulling his shirt off. "But I would never hurt you. Just… Dunno if I can always protect you."

"I don't quite recall asking for you protection", he said walking up to him. "Vampires can protect themselves just fine."

  "And yet, you’re not terrified of me."

"Should I be?"

  "An alpha, hardly what I’d call a wolfie."

"Still a werewolf."

  "Wolfie? I take offense to that."

"I find it suiting to what you are though."

  "I’m not defensive, I’m just sayin’! How was I supposed to know you’re showering? Stop pointing fingers."

"Calm down, wolfie."

"It’s not sneaking in if I had a key, I kinda just… lost it, y’know. You don’t want me here?"

"What a strong defense even for someone who just barged into an occupied shower."

Elan smiled softly. "Here", he led the man and pointed out the directions again. "Got it?" He asked with a smile but seeing the confusion on his face, he couldn't bear but to chuckle a little. "Why don't I walk you over", he said to him. 

"No, we didn’t have bars the first time I was human. Why Stefan can meet us at the bar? And — you have that knife right? The travellers knife?" She took a deep breath  raising a pleading eyebrow at him "Please ?"

"Neither of use have supernatural powers, Amara. If any of those travelers find us, we will be dead before we know it." 

"Can we go out tonight? — And do something fun? I’ve never been to a bar before.”

"You've never--", Matt quirked a brow, "No. You're staying here till Stefan gets back. You know all these is to keep you safe from the travelers."

"Oh, thank you." Alex said taking the wallet. "There’s nothing in it, but still thank you."

Elan shrugged. "Or maybe I saw it as a good opportunity to approach a hot guy", he chuckled saying.
