Yaar, saalon baad mulakat. No drama has been interesting to me for a while, I tried to watch Tere Bin but pretty sure I only got up to episode 10 🥲 So many dramas are in my DNF category but Mohabbat Ghumshuda Meri has me hooked yet pissed at the same time. Honestly, what kind of zidd is this? Saim & Zobia took a stand for their love & how did Zobia’s family react? By fixing her engagement with someone else ; Roshna not telling her until a day before her assumed engagement with Saim was so wrong. I’m sorry but what sin have they committed? I know it’s Pakistan, but come on yaar, they have been screaming since the beginning that they liked one another and no one listened to them ; “bacha hain, abhi kuch bhi nahi pata” laanat on this type of thinking. One thing I will say is that the gaslighting and manipulation done by Zobia’s father is so typical desi baap with jahil thinking. You come to know that your daughter likes someone, she comes to you herself saying THIS is who I like, yet you ignore it all and fix her engagement to some random dude to save face? What face? Their relationship has only come in front of the immediate family, who for some reason, are harboring this hate and resentment towards their love without any valid reason. Both of them approached you guys to get them engaged so that no one dare raise a finger on you guys or their love. All you had to do was get them engaged and then marriage would’ve been down the line once they graduated college & settled in their careers. I feel for Saim and Zobia, I do. Because they have been giving solutions to everyone’s problems yet they’re being shut down or silenced. Ffs, they’re the ones that have to spend their lives with the one they choose, not the parents or any other elder, it’s between them and their choice which for some reason ghaas khane gaye hai. A big prop I will give to Saim’s dad is that after seeing the love that his son held for this girl and how painful it is for him to lose her, he said fuck it, I’m going to get my son his happiness. Saim’s mom is slowly reaching there as well but his dad won my heart when he left after consoling Saim to go talk to Zobia’s dad. He tried his hardest to make him understand, to stop the engagement, but to no avail and it sucks because in the beginning, seeing how well Zobia got along with her dad and how protective he was of her and her feelings ; it seemed that he’d go to any ends for her happiness but sadly, that wasn’t the case. Abh, we gotta wait until next week cause MY BOY SAIM DID NOT PLAYYYY when he said he ain’t letting that engagement happen and TYG that he got there on time. Even after Zobia’s “to be” in-laws find out that she loves someone else and he loves her, I just know her family is gonna do some stupid shit still and stand in their way. Pyaar hi toh kiya hai yaar, yet I love how their love is shaking the world and how much they’re fighting to make everyone realize that they love each other and cannot be without one another. Yeah, Zobia had some hiccups when it came to some things such as not speaking up during the proposal Saim initially sent with her consent but I feel for her when she did that. That was the first her family besides Roshna were hearing that their relationship was more than just friendship. Everyone questioning her put her on the spot yet when it came down to it after Daaniyal’s nonsense, she stood her ground which was just 👏🏼 shabashhhh! I’m excited to see what next week’s episode will hold - I just know that Zobia’s family will do dumb shit instead of listening to her once again but the development from Saim’s family excites me the most because they’re finally listening to Saim and they’re supporting him and his love, no matter what 🥹 Chalo yaar, raat bohot hogaye hai.
