So I went to a art exhibit by an artist I don’t remember the name of. But I found this…the dickhead.

So....I found out that the artist is William Billy Mayer, who is an amazing sculptor and ceramic artist. He made over 200 hundred of these skull figures and did an exhibition revolving around the theme death. He was also my sculpture class professor and I got to know him for the past 3 years. Billy is honestly one of the best humans you can meet and his studio is literally like the room of requirement. I mention a fuse? He says wait a moment goes into his studio and brings a fuse. I want to make a makeshift cigarette? He chucks a box of expired cigs at me. Sparkler? No problem! He was just one of those people you could never hate and he literally had so much knowledge about everything. I never enjoyed a class so much before. I learned so much. This past month on Monday morning I got an email that he had suddenly passed away. I was supposed to have class with him that day... The last time I saw him was Friday where he was all hyped and excited for my senior art seminar class. No one saw it coming and it hit hard. Cried for two days and once I thought I was done I cried again for a third day. I cannot express how much of an influence he was to so many artists. I miss him so much but if anyone was ready for death it was Billy. Hope you’re kicking ass even after death.

Received my random fandom package today! It cost a lot of money.....rip my wallet. But totally worth it! The theme was Onepiece (lego ship), Attack on Titans (lanyard), Full Metal Alchemist (watch), Naruto (3 kunai), Sailor Moon (pillowcase), and One Punch Man (Saitama keychain I put it on a kunai). I love all of them but my favorite is definitely the FMA watch <3 Highly recommend it to my fellow nerds/geeks/lover of anime

SHUTO CON! Most of these pictures are my purchases from the artist stands and other cosplayers. Its amazing how creative people can be. My first cosplay convention at age 20! Honestly one of the best experiences of my life! I worked on my friend’s star butterfly cosplay more than mine....actually I gave up on my cosplay and just went as marco diaz (not very hard). Anyways it was a magical experience to see all these characters come to life around me. Definitely going to another con. On the last day I walked around the artists stands and saw a very familiar artwork and I couldn’t believe that I found @figmentforms !!! My first time actually meeting a artist I follow online! I may have got too excited but I was too happy to care. Then she proceeded to draw on the back of the comic I bought from her TwT Is this real life? Thank you so much dear human, you just made this experience even better for me! My day even got better when my friends and I went to a Korean BBQ for dinner for my korean food deprived self. Then it even got better when we visited a friend’s friend’s house and they had three cats for my cat deprived self. Overall, I felt happy and those are rare moments.

Go to a cosplay convention peoples, I used alot of money but every cent was worth it. Random notes: it was a magical girls themed convention and I went to a magical girls’ uniform design panel. She talked alot about frilly and fun dresses....But I ended up drawing a ninja themed and armory design...ehehe
