(Messy) desk situation: trying to stay hot and cozy while studying for finals

some snippets of my life lately: these macrame plant hangers that I’ve become obsessed with making, a pretty sky (because, like everyone else in the world, I too cannot help myself at the sight of pink clouds), a journal entry I made on finding and elevating my style, and some thank you notes I always paint to put in my depop orders! school doesn’t start for a couple of weeks, and I”m trying to savor the semi-free time before senior year… while manically applying for internships, of course.

the weeks in between summer quarter and autumn quarter are nice to have, but as you can see, it leaves my daily to-do lists rather out of character lol. you can totally tell which days I decided to be more “productive” and which days I decided to take a break- but if quarantine has taught me anything, its that you shouldn’t get into the habit of beating yourself up for taking some time off. enjoy it. self care is also productive even if our society doesn’t see it that way.

back with my september spread! this month’s theme is kind of like memphis design / abstract, i guess? anw, i really like this color combination!
