anyways, i’ve been wanting to make fanart for @planetary-nooo fic “When the Day Met the Night” (pleaseeeee go check it out if you haven’t) but i wasn’t able to when i first read it bc i wasn’t really able to draw furies and considering it’s like a major part of the fic i had to wait till i was able to draw their dragons at least 😭
this fic was one of my first few hijack fics when i started getting into the fandom last year and it’s genuinely one of my favorites, i think about it at least once a day i love it sm 🧎➡️
Tuffnut makes both his hair and his clothes the same as Ruffnut and for the entire day they just mess with the others, and the gang gets pretty fed up but the twins wouldn’t tell them who’s actually Ruffnut and they can’t figure it out either so Snotlout just grabs Chicken and chucks her off the she of one of the walk ways
And then Tuffnut runs pasted him and jumped off the edge of the wall way as well as Ruffnut scrambles to get Bart and Belch

This was originally going to be my submission for Hijack Week Fantasy AU, but I clearly didn't make THAT deadline, LOL! However I still had a huge blast working on this project and I was determined to finish it! I had the most fun drawing Dragon!Hiccup xD
Also when I was 80% done with this I had the realization I should have made Jack the one who was cursed and then I coulda done the whole thing with the white hair/he coulda been a light fury and that would've been the most Swan-like, but it was way too late to go back and change it.
My train of thought when I first started this was that Hiccup was the best fit for Odette cuz he was the one who started out as an "Ugly duckling" so to speak (or at least definitely grew up into a handsome swan LOL) so honestly I guess either of them work for the role.
