symptoms and criteria !!

Homicidal thoughts or ideals : completely invested in ways the individual starts thinking of ways they can murder someone and make their family turn to despair in the episodes.

Hopelessness : the individual may completely feel hopeless, and starting to turn towards despair.

High fever : when in despair-like episodes, the individual may feel more sick, and more dizzy and groggy, and sometimes some heart problems.

Lying : the individual may lie more often, or even everytime they have a conversation if the case is severe enough.

Bad memory : the individual usually have fuzzy memory, and can struggle with remembering stuff in their despair episode.

Physical assault : in severe cases, the individual may assault friends or family, sometimes even strangers.

Struggles with identity : the individual may feel extremely confused about their identity and personality when in the despair episode, this also includes gender and sexuality.

Cause ? :

The cause isn't exactly known but it is often linked to Trauma, other personality disorders, depression or psychosis.

Treatment ? :

This disorder is rarely cured due to how extreme it is, but it can be helped by

Trauma informed therapy : Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help pwHdPD process their feelings and despair-episodes

Medicine : medicine like antidepressants can help calm the individual down and make them feel hopeful once more.
