this felt important enough to share
Reblogging because though I was diagnosed years ago and my mother has ADHD too, nobody EVER told me this was a thing, and i never would have known unless I’d seen a post about it on Tumblr that gave me something to go and look up. It’s still an awful symptom, but being able to recognize it for what it is makes it lot easier to deal with.
I’ve been recently diagnosed with ADHD, and it’s been such a relief knowing WHY my brain works differently than everyone else’s. ESPECIALLY with RSD which I just always read as anxiety. It’s made a huge difference just knowing it exists.
