How Hufflepuff

Hufflepuffs don’t wait until they are in trouble to bring flowers home; they bring some home from the store about every other week just because. 

A muggleborn brought chalkboard paint and pulled an all-nighter with friends painting a wall in the common room, moving paintings and shelves and even a fireplace for the night with a tricky bit of transfiguration. When it was all dry, they returned everything plus added place for chalk. Now it is covered every day with words of encouragement and little notes. 

Hufflepuffs get more frustrated at Ravenclaws than any other house. In their shared classes, the ‘Claws tend to be patronizing or condescending in discussions. 

Hufflepuffs tend to move back to their villages and hamlets after graduating from Hogwarts. They bring their talents back home because they want to give back to the community that raised them. 

Breakups are rough for Hufflepuffs. They will still want to be friends, even when they know that’s an impossibility. 

Hufflepuffs stress-nap. 

I think a “villain” Hufflepuff would take a dark path in the name of loyalty, and patience and hard work would get them their results. 

Several Hufflepuffs throw a scone into their bag during breakfast every morning for people who slept through.

Every Hufflepuff when *that* line plays

S: Don’t say I never tried to help you. 

Hufflepuffs are very driven but feel guilty nominating themselves for leadership positions; they like being asked to lead, so they don’t feel like they are being selfish. 

When a Hufflepuff wins an argument against a Slytherin, the Slytherin will try to flee the scene as quickly as possible, while the Hufflepuff trails behind trying to figure out what type of cookie to bake to smooth things over.

If a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin are the only two from their respective houses in a big group project or on a team, they will either be on the same page, united against the Ravenclaws and Gryffindors, OR they will be pitted against each other on big decisions and try to sway the rest of the team to their perspective.

Yearly Easter egg hunts are a point of pride for the house of the Badgers. The upperclassmen make beautiful eggs, hand painted, and hide them about the castle letting the younger puffs find them.
