My Lord, I too can assure you as a Hufflepuff with a Slytherin best friend that Hufflepuffs could be excellent Death eater candidates, especially nowadays. You'll need our patience if you want to conquer anything. π
I have found this to be true firsthand - I do have a small handful of Hufflepuff followers and they have proven themselves to be highly diligent, agreeable, precise, and genuine - the latter of which makes them horrible for diplomacy However they make wonderful internal mediators, creatives, and more.
And when there has been a glorious victory - or loss - among my ranks, it will not be the Hufflepuffs drinking themselves into oblivion and starting physical altercations in every pub this side of London.
books hufflepuffs would read
"Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery - Anne Shirley's optimism, kindness, and determination are emblematic of Hufflepuff qualities.
"Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White - This heartwarming tale of friendship, loyalty, and compassion would surely appeal to a Hufflepuff's sensibilities.
"Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott - The strong bonds of family and friendship, as well as the characters' resilience and kindness, make this a perfect read for Hufflepuffs.
"The Help" by Kathryn Stockett - This novel celebrates courage, empathy, and the importance of standing up for what's right, all traits that Hufflepuffs hold dear.
"The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett - The themes of growth, healing, and the power of friendship make this a classic choice for a Hufflepuff reader.
"A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman - Ove's gruff exterior hides a heart of gold, and his journey toward rediscovering hope and connection would resonate with Hufflepuffs.
"Wonder" by R.J. Palacio - This story about kindness, empathy, and acceptance is a must-read for anyone with a Hufflepuff heart.
"The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows - Set against the backdrop of World War II, this novel celebrates the power of friendship, community, and resilience.
"The House in the Cerulean Sea" by TJ Klune - This charming and heartwarming fantasy novel celebrates found family, acceptance, and the beauty of embracing differences.
"Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman - Eleanor's journey toward healing and connection, as well as her acts of kindness and compassion, would resonate with Hufflepuffs.
