Potential tww idea:
Ship: Hicsqueak (Hecate Hardbroom and Pippa Pentangle)
Prompt: 💕 kissing somewhere other than the lips
I'm all about the prompt memes lately! Hope it's okay that this one is technically Joy/Pippa instead of Hecate/Pippa. I wanted to play with the tol/smol dynamic that Pippa's school nickname suggests.

“She said I might be excluded!”
Joy looks into Pippa’s tear-streaked face and represses an urge to brush the teardrops off her cheeks. “I’m sure she didn’t mean it, Pippa.”
“But I didn’t even do it! It was Theresa Toadflax!”
“Obviously,” Joy says, trying to make light of it, “or the lab wouldn’t have blown up.”
“But she wouldn’t believe me –”
“You know how Mrs. Cackle can be sometimes. She gets ideas in her head, and she won’t really listen to reason.”
“She called my parents!”
“But they believed you, didn’t they?”
“I think so, but –”
“Pipsqueak.” Joy can’t stand looking at Pippa’s woeful expression anymore. She pulls Pippa into an embrace, pressing her face into the chest of Joy’s pinafore. Pippa, more than a head shorter than Joy, slumps into her, still crying. “Shh,” Joy whispers, feeling PIppa’s tears soak through the cloth. “It will be all right.”
“But –”
“Sssshhh,” Joy says again, and on impulse she bends her head over Pippa’s and places a gentle kiss on top of the head of blonde hair, now beginning to come out of its ponytail. Pippa goes very still for a moment, then relaxes. Her shoulders have stopped shaking with sobs. Gently, Joy caresses the straggling strands of the smaller girl’s hair, then pulls the elastic out entirely. Pippa’s hair cascades down around her shoulders. Joy closes her eyes, breathing in the scent of Pippa’s shampoo. Pippa is quiet now, head still pressed into Joy’s chest.
“You’ll be all right,” Joy whispers, and, unable to stop herself, presses another, longer kiss into PIppa’s hair. “Don’t cry.”
“Mrs. Cackle told me to go back to my hutch,” PIppa says, sounding younger than her 14 years, “but she didn’t say I had to go alone. Will you come sit with me for a while?”
“‘Course.” Joy runs a hand through PIppa’s hair, then lets her go. “Even if she’d said you had to go alone, I’d still have come with you, you know.”
“I don’t want to be getting you in trouble too.”
“Too bad you’re stuck with me, then, no matter what.” Joy slips her hand into Pippa’s, gives it a squeeze. “You know nothing’s ever going to come between us.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
