This is inspired by the 100 baby challenge, but instead, we are aiming to populate Westeros with bastards. Saerena Targaryen, scandal of the realm, will be earning the title of Queen of Bastards. This is both an introduction, and a call for male sims! You can fill out the form to submit male sims to the challenge here!
The rules and differences to the rules are as follows:
Saerena and her heirs must be in the nobility career. Yes, this means they must bear and deal with the scandals they cause, and manage this alongside their children.
Bastards take the ASOIAF bastard surname of the region their father is from.
Saerena and her progeny may have a butler, but said butler cannot tend to the children.
Lifespan is set to long. Auto age up can happen.
Infant stage may be brief or skipped. Toddlers can be aged up when they reach level 3 in all toddler skills. Children and teenagers can be aged up when they get an A in school. Young adults can be moved out of the house to make room for more children but they cannot be moved back in after.
When the matriarch becomes an elder and can no longer bear children, her youngest daughter takes over as the next matriarch. You may move out your elderly matriarch only if her youngest daughter has become a young adult.
Your matriarch may not get pregnant by the same donor twice. Once he has impregnated your Sim once, he cannot be used again for more children.
Use the in-game randomiser to select all the children’s traits as they age. You cannot cherry pick their traits.

Aenora was one of four children, the eldest of her generation of Targaryen princes and princesses. She never begrudged her younger brother Rhaegar for having been put ahead of her, and she mourned him deeply. When people jeered that she was not honoring his memory by taking his place in the succession, and if she loved him she would have turned down the seat, she did not respond, but quietly questioned what could have given them that impression. Aenora would have been Rhaegar's biggest supporter, and no one was more grieved that he died so young.
Her and her sisters grew closer after his loss, and she doted on their children as well. Auntie Aenora was a beloved figure in their lives.
Two of the most important men in Aenora's life were her father, Viserys Targaryen, and her eldest son, Baelor. There were some who, when Aenora gave the king a grandson, would have her claim skipped over for her young son by Reg Caron, but Viserys stuck to his decision and never disinherited his daughter. The two were reportedly quite close, before and after she became his heir, and he cherished his eldest grandchild.
When Princess Aenora was born with a head of golden curls, many at court said she was too Westerling, a comment made even when her brother came later looking the image of his mother, but he was never questioned. When Aenora's challenge for succession was brought forward following his death, criticism called her "all Westerling and not Targaryen", ignoring her purple eyes and Targaryen father in favor of her male cousins, who looked the part more.
Aenora took pride in being her mother's daughter, and was never ashamed to be half-Westerling.
No one expected the crown to unexpectedly fall towards her less than Aenora Targaryen.
Though born the eldest, she was followed so quickly after by a son that as long as she was aware, she knew she would not be queen. A girl who wanted very little to be in the spotlight, she preferred the warm glow of a small group of close-knit people to the din of the crowd. She would have passed her life by in relative obscurity as a princess, marrying for love and bearing children and living a happy family life.
Perhaps she would have married Daerius Velaryon first, if she had not married Reg Caron for politics, when her brother was away at war. Perhaps Baelor would have had him for a father, and not a beloved stepfather. But she was not one to dwell on what-ifs.

Before a feast being hosted by her mother, Eglentina Westerling, the Princess Aenora and her consort, Lord Daerius Velaryon, had hid what they would wear from one another, both meaning to surprise the other by wearing the other's colors. Needless to say, when the couple saw one another, they burst into peals of laughter, and were complimented by attendants for their devotion to one another. Notably, one attendee commented, the Princess had never worn her previous husband's colors.
The king's command had been clear: all those who wished to stake their claim would set forth to Harrenhall, from the Stormlands and the Westerlands, from across the Narrow Sea; from the noble-born and the misbegotten offspring of House Targaryen alike would make haste.
The party of Lady Argaelle Baratheon, the Lady of Tarth. Born in 75ac The natural-born daughter of Lord Boremund Baratheon and Princess Maeyra Targaryen, and granddaughter of King Maegor the Cruel and his black bride Queen Rhaena Targaryen. While a direct descendant of the Dragon House, her popularity is marred by the infamy of her forebear Maegor the Cruel. She is renowned for her diplomatic nature and vast wealth. Her loveliness is widely regarded; she is said to bear a striking resemblance to her grandmother Queen Rhaena. Accompanying her to Harrenhall is her lord husband, Cameron Tarth, her mother Princess Maeyra Targaryen, and her brother, Borros Baratheon. Some say Aragaelle is haunted by strange dreams during tempestuous storms, or are these just nightmares or something more?

Lady Alysanne Swann, born around 78ac the daughter of the old king's great-niece and lord Swann. Her mother had renounced her claim long ago and fled to the Stormlands to marry a member of House Swann. Her husband, Prince Aurion Targaryen, is at the very bottom of the succession; driven by ambition had exploited Alysanne's known greed to convince her to push her claim. While both are ill-fit to rule, known drunkards and involved in many a scandal, they prove to be quite popular with slippery lords who seek to rule through them. Many rumours surround their marriage, including ones about the death of Aurion's late first wife; will the rumours of debauchery and murder follow them to Harrenhall?

With her on her travels are her husband Daerius Velaryon, her mother Eglentina Westerling, and her young son Prince Baelor Targaryen. While her life has been stricken by grief, it has also been filled with much love and warmth. Will Aenora succeed in her bid for the throne?

Viserra of Lys, born in 85ac to Saera Targaryen and a Lysene nobleman. While Saera was working in a pleasure house, she met Lysondro Rogare, he later bought out her contract and married her; they produced one child, Viserra Targaryen. While Viserra acknowledges King Jaehaerys disowned her mother, stating, "The king disowned my mother, not her blood; I carry the blood of the Old King," she believes she is still in line for the throne. She is ambitious and gifted in the art of manipulation. She holds herself in high regard; as a child, she was gifted a dragon egg said to be from Asshai, which hatched into a dragon. She's charming and flirtatious and exceptionally beautiful.

Elaerys Flowers, Born in 76 ac, the bastard daughter of Septa Rhaella Targaryen and Mathis Rowan. Her birth caused great scandal; she was raised in Goldengrove, extremely spoiled and well loved by her father. As she grew, Elaerys became increasingly ambitious, believing she was destined for greatness. Known for her pride and arrogance, along with her sharp tongue. Elaerys is a known schemer and collector of whispers. In 97 ac she married an equally ambitious man, Mors Santagar. Will Elaerys' plots and intrigue lead her to the throne, or will she drown in a sea of secrets?

Lady Vallaena Velaryon, born in 83ac , is the daughter of Lord Corlys Velaryon and Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. as the Grandaughter of the former heir prince Aemon, she is quite popular amongst the lords. With the backing of House Velaryon and Martell through her husband, Prince Trystane Martell she makes a formidable claimant. She is a dragonrider given an egg from her mother's dragon, Meleys, as an infant. She is known for her shrewdness and skill in intrigue, and her reign could bring peace between Dorne and unite it with the Seven Kingdoms. However, some whisper that her husband Trystane, isn't above dabbling in dark arts and spells.

Lady Daenaera Hill, born in 84ac the bastard child of Princess Saera Targaryen and one of her many male lovers, in 84ac, Saera was sent to Oldtown to serve as a novice. It was later discovered she was pregnant, and she was whisked away to the Westerlands to give birth to the child. Saera herself could not say who the child's father was; most assumed it was Ser Braxton Beesbury, her lover, slain by Jaehaerys in a trial by combat. The babe was ripped from Saera's hands soon after and placed with a foster family. She left for Lys 85ac, where she had several more children while working as a courtesan. When Lord Leyon Lannister got news of the great council, he tracked Daenaera down and married her, hoping to use Daenaera to fuel his own ambition.

Your fingers carefully trace the wax seal—a three-headed dragon, the sigil of House Targaryen. You crack the seal open with delicate hands. Do you dare to read its contents....

Upon the death of my last heir, and with the advice of my council, I have found it to be in the best interests of the realm to summon all lords, ladies, and knights with a legal claim to my throne to a Great Council.

Hello everyone, I hoped you liked that little in-universe invitation. This is the announcement of a collab event hosted by me along with some other very talented creators who have kindly chosen to dedicate their time, inspired by the Great Council of 101. Similar to other events, this has three main components. First, the cc which will be released weekly; next, the story section; and lastly, the competition section.
the cc side is pretty self-explanatory; however, I'll explain how the story and competition works, you sumbit a sim as your main character, who will go to Harrenhall to stake a claim (they can be your claimant or go on behalf of someone else, such as a child or spouse). You will pick the type of claim, such as blood claim, marriage claim, illegitimate, etc. Also explain a bit about their character. Then you pick their stats such as diplomacy, wealth, etc. Each will be a challenge based on the stats you've picked; it decides whether or not they move forward in the competition. The story and competition will work in tandem with each other. The storyline follows the claimants, winning support and navigating the tumultuous Great Council selection; the winner becomes the new heir and future monarch!
Unlike in canon, there will be no gender bias, and the winner will be determined purely by the weekly competitions. There will also be a small prize for the winner <3

most of my lookbooks usually contain free cc, but i did want to stay true to what i used for this sim throughout the story, and on occasion i do use cc that requires other memberships/early access. i also try to stay away from re-uploading cc, unless i absolutely cannot find the original source.

A Royal Masquerade - The Prince Converses
While our other attendees seek out entertainment, drinks, and food for the remainder of the ball - Prince Valarr heads to a quieter area of the open floor.
As he finds a seat among the many available, two of our most charismatic contenders' approach, and are the first to take their place on either side of him.
The Sea Maiden (by @honeysylvan) is the first to speak, telling the Prince of her many adventures on the open waters. Lady Lunara (by @queensoflumis) speaks next of her own travels, and the countless clans she has ventured to meet. In return, Valarr recounts a recent adventure of his own to the wordly women.
Taking the seats of the previous contenders, Lady Harlequin by (@applesaucesims) and The Pale Rose (by @lechairschair) are the next to approach. Full of energy and passion, they regal the prince with stories of parties and assassinations. While Valarr is initially able to engage in the conversation with both women, it eventually turns into a debate between the two - as to who had led a more exiting life thus far.
Changing couches, he sits next with Lady Light (by @houseofsimsgaryen) and Lady Hestia (by @jonquilyst). Perhaps overwhelmed by the nervous ramblings of Lady Light, the Lady Hestia struggles to get a word in - but then again, so does Valarr. Although beautiful and kind, it seems that meaningful dialogue with either of these ladies is out of the question.
Lady Andromeda (by @seyvia) and The Little Sparrow (by @ethicaltreatmentofcowplants) are the next take their seats besides Valarr. Sensing their nervousness of the pair, he finds himself opening the conversation this time. He speaks of his own nerves surrounding the event, and his hopes for true love. His openness calms the two, and in return, the two share tales of their own recent losses, leading to their search for love.
It is hard to say if our final ladies were simply patient, or if they were smart enough to purposefully wait and claim the final conversation with the young Dayne - but it seems to have paid off either way.
The Enchantress (by @invisiblequeen) and Lady Muse (by @starlightpixels) are the last to converse with the prince, standing closer to the water. The two intelligent women take the time allotted to them discussing the lands they hail from, and their goals to forge strong diplomatic relationships with kingdoms far and wide. By the end of the conversation between the trio, it seems that each of their kingdoms has gained allies - regardless of the event's outcome.
As he wraps up his discussion with final pairing, the clock strikes eleven. The end of the night is nearing, and Valarr must make a decision.
He has found 6 of the 10 with whom he conversed to be suitable matches. Surely given the chance, he believes he would be able to find the love that he desires with any of these women - but there can only be one...

this one was pretty close - with our highest point combination being 13, and our lowest point combination being 9.

A Royal Masquerade!
Ladies from far & wide have answered the call for A Royal Masquerade, seeking the hand of Prince Valarr Dayne! Among the attendees are ladies of various standings, stemming from royal, noble, and common houses throughout the lands.
For the sake of anonymity, each lady has been assigned a name to which they will be referred to throughout the ball.

Lady Caerina Sunglass of Sweetport Sound - Lady Light

Caerina grew up in the Crownlands along the banks of Blackwater Bay at Sweetport Sound. A gentle girl, she was favored by her mother for being her spitting image, but that attention also brought expectation, which has given her anxiety she tries her best to cover up.
She is a dutiful daughter and strives to be a good wife and mother someday, something she wants above all else. She has studied the "womanly arts" of sewing, needlework, painting, music, but also finance and things necessary to help a spouse run a home.
Her mother urged her attend the ball, as she aims high for Caerina's future, though she secretly hopes for a love match.
Lady Celia Tyrell of Highgarden - The Pale Rose

The true origin of Lady Celia is unknown. She was adopted by lord Tyrell as an infant and was raised as a Tyrell at Highgarden, never having known or questioned her true parentage.
At the age of 18, Celia is a wild soul, who loves to leave Highgarden and visit local taverns, constantly seeking adventure. With everyone around her attending the masquerade, she deemed it important enough to attend herself.
Lady Eloise Arryn of the Vale - The Moonlit Maiden

At the age of 21, the lady Eloise is attending the ball as she has far been unable to find a match thus far.
The youngest of three sisters, many find themselves at unease amongst the young Arryn - noting have a strange personality, which often making those unfamiliar with her uncomfortable.
Eloise enjoys painting in her spare time, often recreating images of her home, the Eyrie.
Lady Genna Greyjoy of the Iron Islands - Lady le Faye

20-year-old Genna Greyjoy would never have imagined herself vying for the heart of a prince, but the timing was too perfect for her to pass up the opportunity to meet so many new people; so many better options for marriage than the one chosen for her.
The fourth and youngest child of Lord Hrothgar Greyjoy and his wife Berena Blacktyde, Genna is even more comfortable aboard a ship than in her father's court at Pyke. Though she knows her courtly manners perfectly, she is more graceful with her sea legs beneath her than on land, leading others to characterize her as clumsy. Despite this, she takes her stumbles in good humor, and when she is determined, will always put in extra effort to improve.
She grew up following in her brother Gawen's footsteps, learning to sail and fight alongside him and joining his crew when he was given his own ship in their father's fleet. She is competent with a sword, but truly shines as an archer.
She leaves the familiar rocky shores of the Iron Islands to escape the marriage arranged for her by Lord Hrothgar to one of his more unpleasant bannermen who would prefer a much more passive wife.
Escorting her are the aforementioned brother Gawen, 22, and her cousin and lady-in-waiting Sarra Blacktyde, also 20. Both of them agree with Genna that she would be happier and more useful to her father if she were to use her potential marriage to foster closer relations with the mainland. She loves trying new things, especially if it allows her to spend more time outdoors, though she has never much enjoyed any sort of crafting. One of her favorite pastimes is fishing, followed closely by swimming.
Lady Jeyne Tyrell of Highgarden - Lady Wildflower

Jeyne is 22 and is the only daughter of the current Lord Tyrell's second son. She has always been somewhat rebellious against the typical "lady" behavior and lifestyle her parents have tried to place on her.
She loves horseback riding, fishing, and hunting, often running off with her brothers to escape from high garden's "stuffy" atmosphere (her words).
She is going to the ball on the order of her father in hopes that the prince will catch her attention. Jeyne doesn't mind it, hoping that if the prince chooses her maybe she'll finally be free to be who she wishes to be, or simply make a timely escape on her way home
Lady Maela Reyne of Castemere - The Silver Lioness

The Lady Maela grew up as a wealthy lady in Castamere. Currently in her 20th year, she is very competitive, with a love of dancing and logic games. She excels at Cyvasse, a popular board game in Westeros.
Her family has been pressuring her to marry, so she came to the ball to attempt to win the prince's hand.
Lady Myarra Stark of Winterfell - The Winter Star

The second daughter and third child of Lord Berric and Lady Irida Stark-Blackwood, Myarra is a wild child who wishes to broaden her horizons in any direction she can.
She can often be found horse riding, and sword fighting - even at the oddest of times.
When her Lord Father informed her, he would be searching for a match, she asked to go to the Masquerade held by the King of Starfall, seeking the hand of his son.
Lady Myrielle Mullendore of the Uplands - Lady Monarch

As the only daughter of Lord Owen Mullendore and his wife, Lady Elinor, Myrielle Mullendore is the treasured monarch butterfly of her House - born in Spring a surprise, for her parents had been told many years before that there would be no more children after the birth of their sons, but the Seven blessed Lord & Lady Mullendore with a final gift, a darling girl to complete their family.
She was raised with high expectations of duty and honour, while also being afforded time to appreciate the true beauty of the Reach.
Growing in the Uplands, her House's seat east of Oldtown, she spent most of her time outdoors or with her nose in-between the pages of a novel; despite her significant age gap with her brothers, the Lords Eylas, Cleyton and Alyn, Myrielle found them great playmates in her youth, who introduced her to a love of horses, reading, and lemon cake. Wherever the Lords wandered, their little sister would bolt after them despite her mother desperate to cocoon her like a caterpillar.
Even now at age 20, she is viewed as Lady Elinor's delicate jewel, although Lord Owen is hopeful Myrielle will find the ideal match in marriage soon, just as her brothers have done, completing their own duties to their House, as she is their only child that is unmarried.
The house motto 'Emerge Anew' has personal resonance with Myrielle - as much she adores her family, she has felt somewhat smothered by her mother's overprotective nature and is eager to spread her wings and experience a life of her own. The ball was not Myrielle's idea, but it soon became all she has talked about for days on end, the chance to leave the Uplands, and perhaps make friends, or even find a suitor.

As some of you might have seen, the legacy save has corrupted with the recent update, unfortunately. Rather than re-setting up everything in an entirely new save, I am starting my legacy over - or rather, from the middle.
A new legacy, with new tags and such will be starting soon with Queen Aenora Targaryen as our founder. Daerius Velaryon will be her prince consort.
I will do a post with the beginning and the new rules soon! I have a new castle build, a fresh start, and I look forward to Aenora's longer reign with you all!
