some old school note-taking to prepare for my essays. i think it was a good idea to take a bigger workload this semester because the long summer break gives me more time to work on things.

a lovely month which definitely saw some easing of the gas pedal school wise. classes are a lot less time consuming which thankfully leaves more time for rest, horses and running. i never get tired of the moment the horses’ coats start shining and you know that summer is really coming. i did my first 8k run yesterday, which is a very wonderful note to leave may on. five more weeks of school and then it’s full focus on the house renovation and horse training. yes!

The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster both physically and emotionally, so I didn’t feel like posting much. Nevertheless, each day is a an opportunity to restart, so that is exactly what I’m trying to do. Our new kitten has been keeping me sane, and I’m so grateful for her even if she meows ENDLESSLY. She’ll be my new study buddy as I catch up on missed readings and lectures ❤️

I'm studying Heart of Darkness for my literature exam, but it's so jam packed with symbolism and imagery that I've flagged pretty much every page... I hope it'll pay off during the exam!
