There is a Lewis dot structure of the chemicals in Phorgedytol

i asked myself how these all connect and eventually came up with this chart

i feel like these are pretty self-explanatory (and a lot of guesswork), but the one that needs explaining is the last one: “A Horse with No Name” by America connects to Phorgedytol. hear me out, i do not think “A Horse with No Name” was unintentionally picked.

“A Horse with No Name” by America -> Phorgedytol

Chorus: “I’ve been through the desert on a horse with no name/ It felt good to be out of the rain/ In the desert you can’t remember your name/ ‘Cause there ain’t no one for to give you no pain”

Song is an extended metaphor for “a vehicle to get away from life’s confusion into a quiet, peaceful place”

Possibly indicates that someone is using Phorgedytol to forget something bad that happened to them

a common misconception (or alternate interpretation, if you look at it that way) is that the song is a metaphor for drug use. this interpretation has been denied by the songwriters

tl;dr: i think that the doctor puppet will introduce phorgedytol to a character who wants to use it to forget something (whether this is well-intentioned or not). phorgedytol may be related to the horses, especially since it now seems like there is “a horse with no name” being introduced next season. phorgedytol may have a connection to the genie since they have matching color schemes. the other puppets will return in a subplot of sorts, focusing around a right triangle puppet. i do not know how the puppet vape factors into all of this.

OBVIOUSLY this is all mostly guesswork but i think there have been too many horse mentions already for them to not be plot relevant again (like s3/4). i have more theories surrounding much of these, but those do not have substantial evidence so i will not post them yet. my additional guess for phorgedytol, though, is that dorothy ruth might use it to forget about stanley melvin murphy. my only evidence for this is the horse on the bottle and the fact that at the end of s6 she was literally going to try and find her husband (in purgatory???) idk she seems like the type to take it

there are unanswered things from last season that i am not accounting for but those would be a chekhov’s gun i suppose

but—now the minestrone has to grapple with being not just an object but a mind. there’s no one else like her. in that way, she’s like maizey grappling with her holographic identity, except that the minestrone was made in an image of love, and maizey & the holograms were made without thought, for a purpose of hate.

what is the closest the minestrone can get to being a person without losing what she is already? does she feel more ostracized from the foods or from the other ships? if mike built her a body, would she inhabit it? or would it feel too foreign?

on minestrone's side of things, i've always believed that she was a real person first, and when she died in the chili wars mike sought to build her again. so she's an attempted facsimile of a real person that he knew once, and that might be why he considers them "married" even though he acknowledges her status as something artificial---unfortunately this does make her a person that only exists as the epitome of what happens when, maybe, you love someone too much
