The EGGs are humanoid dragon-like creatures that survive off the bonds they form with a human / hybrid parental figure. They can also form bonds with eachother that help them communicate eith eachother as well as work as an emergency safeguard in the case of a lack of parental bond.

The first few days of the parental bond forming are crucial, as this is where they gain their ohysical simularities to their parents, as well as they are more vunerable to Bond Sickness without being near the parents newr constantly.
