Last night I got a tattoo to commemorate the album that means more to me than I ever imagined an album could. This album made my biggest and oldest dream come true. 2019 was a hard year for me (especially the first half of the year), and this album and Taylor showed up just in time for me. I also got a Cornelia rose, because the first time I heard Cornelia Street it really hit me that the person I’ve looked up to for 12+ years has similar fears and anxieties, and that song encompasses my greatest fear, which is the people closest to me leaving me. That relatablitiy was showcased in a way that was so different from how I’ve experienced that with Taylor before with previous songs and albums. My heart is always bursting with love for this woman and her music.

It’ll be six years with my boyfriend in March. I never believed I would find a love so magical and romantic for me. I can’t wait for Lover to be our wedding song someday. 💗

If you would have told me a month ago (when I ordered this crop top) that I would wear a crop top, I’d laugh in your face. If you would have told me 13 years ago, I would have laughed in your face and then run to my pillow to cry. I’ve struggled with not only my weight my entire life, but also my self image. Not skinny enough. Too much acne. Not pretty enough. Disgusting. Hideous. Layer on the baggy clothes. That’s all you’re worth.

Today I said enough. @taylorswift every single day you give me the strength to be my most authentic self. To live to be upapologetically ME! And to dance like I’m the only one in the world. Thank you for this courage. Today, and every day moving forward. Lover has changed my outlook on love in all of its difficult, tragic, wonderous, and beautiful forms. Thank you. ✨
