Season 3 Appreciation Week - Episode Edition

can’t even wrap my head around everything, for how long Owen has been in this indefinite pain, choosing the first responder career, naming his son after his brother, living his whole life holding himself accountable for the death of his brother and burdening himself with the responsibility of the disintegration of his family.. and sadly carrying a similar episode of trauma and everything that ensues it into his own family with tk.. like by god just seeing him after all these decades verbally apologising to his estranged father “dad I’m sorry i couldn’t save him, i tried, i swear to god.. i’m so so.. sorry” when it’s far from being his fault……. that was A LOT. i breathed a sigh of relief when his father answered back admitting everything he should’ve admitted a long time ago. I am glad he at the very least gave Owen a catharsis, an emotional release — a very needed closure where he can carry on with his life less burdened with that decades old tragic load.
