"You must be Mr Donaldson. I appreciate it when a young man dresses appropriately."

"Came straight from the office."

He nodded sympathetically over a drink, while I moaned about the cost of a flat.

"Intern not paid so much."

I nodded emphatically.

"Well it's not much I can offer. Right at the top of the house. But own bathroom. And my assistant keeps everything nice. He is cooking my supper now. You are welcome to stay for supper, whether or not you want the room."

Nice room. And cheap. Bed a bit basic. Metal frame. But ok for a month while I looked around.

Great supper. Young guy, maybe from the Phillipines, served everything and smiled a lot.

"My name is Carlo."

Want the room. Want the room. Felt a bit fuzzy. That's all I could think.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

Muscles unable to respond. Carlo tied my hands behind my back. They showed me the red ropes and tied me up on the sofa.

"We will have to gag him, Carlo. Please get the silver tape. I like it best."
