“Hmm, oh my cloak? Yes, it is beautiful---" Red’s lips curved into a smile as she moved her hands to the fabric of her super important hooded cloak. The cloak was what made her who she was, after all, Little Red Riding Hood. She was sure she wouldn’t have the nickname Red either, if it wasn’t for her wearing this all the time. “Granny got me it, she never did say where from---“ That didn’t mean Red hadn’t pestered her grandmother in hope that the widow would tell her. After she found out her true identity as the wolf she didn’t have much time to spare to ask her grandmother before being whisked away with Snow to safety. “--- I’m glad you like it. I’ve not seen you around the village before,” Which was a surprise – the village never got many visitors. “My name is Red.”

                    ❝ And here I thought  I’d actually get a break for once. ❞

“Never a moment of peace for the savour, hm?” Ruby questioned as she moved over to Emma and gave her a gentle pat upon the shoulder. Although pointing that out may have not helped the situation. “I’m sure it’ll calm down soon. It has to. There was never a dull moment in the Enchanted Forest --- and yet your parents managed to get married, rule a Kingdom and have you. Surely you’ll get some time to yourself soon.”

   The coffee front of him was not to his taste anymore; cold. “I do sincerely apologize for the amount of questions I am burdening you with, Ruby –" The smile that dances upon his lips is laced with overbearing kindness. “Where last did you happen to see Emma Swan?” He did not know the diner’s waitress all that much; truthfully, more of what was spoken of her – alas, he knew that much of her to get inside her head; to woo her; to manipulate her, to have things his way. “Please, Ruby.”

Turning her head and fully giving Hans her attention this time, she shrugged a little, “Comes with the job,” It seemed she got asked more questions than she would have expected with this profession. She figured she’d have been asked more questions if she worked as a bartender --- to be honest, she’d have preferred working as a bartender. At least then she could have had a stiff drink when Granny wasn’t looking. “Last I saw Emma she was heading home.” Ruby replied, knowing in her head she was mumbling that that was where she should have been. Less home, and more to her private room in the Bed and Breakfast, but, eh, back here bright and early the next day. “Knowing Emma, Snow and David --- they’ll probably have a town meeting about it tomorrow in here. You should stay and have a drink.”

        "The whole town, you say?” Calculated; every single w o r d – in this land, he was not Prince Hans Westergard; the deceitful, the murderous, the villain – here; he bore a mask & it had not failed in serving him well – should Elsa see him; the charade would be over – Hans would not let that ice witch best him; not again. A most charming smile takes place instead; knuckles relaxing – oh; how he could play women so easily. “As you well know – I am a protector of this town, Ruby; and I’m going to need to know the names of said witnesses, if you have any for me; of course.” 

“--- More Emma’s job,” She replied as Hans said that he was the protector of the town. “But sure.” The brunette’s plucked brow raised as she tilted her head and shrugged her shoulders. She moved her hands from the counter and straightened up, looking around the diner for any sign of those said witnesses. Really, it was a surprise Hans hadn’t seen it for himself --- that large snowman tearing through the town, and all. Turning her head back to look at Hans, she suggested, “Could start with her though, Emma’s always in the middle of everything around here, you know.” And from what she gathered Emma was one of the first people to see this Elsa around Storybrooke. But, she had heard that Grumpy, Regina, Hook had seen her too. She pursed her painted lips before furrowing her brow. “You should really leave it to them. I’m sure they know what they’re doing.”

       ”Pardon me?” N o – there was no chance Queen Elsa could be here; in Storybrooke no less, a time not so long ago he had made sure Arendelle’s monarch could not follow him to this new realm. “Are you quite certain you saw a woman with such magic?” After all; as an officer – he had to ensure the safety of the town’s people – && if that woman was indeed risen;; there would be w r a t h.

“Well the whole towns raving about it,” Ruby shrugged as she moved her hand to the counter and tapped her fingers. Unfortunately she had been too busy in the diner to be out there where all the fun was happening, but she trusted Emma and everyone else’s judgements. “--- Just when I thought this town couldn’t get any weirder,” The she-wolf lowered one of her shoulders, pressing her palm flat against the wood. Really, she shouldn’t have been that surprised. With everything else, and everyone else in Storybrooke… “--- It would explain how I skidded on ice when taking my ride for a spin earlier, though.”

“Really? You’re kidding --- great,” A small growl emitted from the bottom of her throat, “There goes my afternoon run.” She shook her head before tending to Heather’s hot chocolate. Having made the drink for the girl more times than she cared to count, Ruby didn’t take that long before she was around the other side of the counter and placed it down beside her. Plopping down on the stool next to her, Ruby’s keen green eyes wandered around the diner. No sign of Granny? Great – early break for this little she-wolf. Propping her elbow on the counter, and placing her cheek into her palm she gave Heather a small smile. “How are you, Kiddo?”

  “Do you want to grab a     drink with me? This is     all becoming too much,    and I need a drink. Want              to join me?” 

“I thought you’d never ask,” Ruby gleamed as she pushed back from the counter at the diner. Looking at the cleaning cloth in her hand, she scrunched up her features before throwing it over her shoulder onto the back counter. “--- All this is getting too much for me.” Granny had actually taken away Ruby’s Saturday nights in favour of teaching her the books.
