always the center of attention (basically the chosen one), can make electricity crackle around him and at his fingertips, lightning fast reflexes, never backs down from a challenge or a fight, annoyingly good at everything, loves rainstorms, is hard on teammates and even harder on himself, the sky gets cloudy when he's in a bad mood

murata fuma - son of athena

the planner of the group whether it's capture the flag or an epic quest, most well informed on godly affairs, in charge of the olive tree groves, trains the younger campers on how to fight, a master on the loom, kind and gentle to every bug but hates spiders, has memorized the most elaborate mental map of camp

wang yixiang - son of hades

scary face like his dad but has the sweetest personality, persephone loves him even tho he's literally the product of her husband cheating, friends with a lot of souls in both the underworld and elysium, trains cerberus to do tricks, always laying in the grass eating a pomegranate or strawberries

byun euijoo - son of poseidon

uses his power of controlling water to be a camp lifeguard LOL, can talk to all aquatic animals, spends a lot of time with his toes in the sand or floating gently in the ocean, always smells like sunscreen and salt and jasmine, collects seashells for camp crafts, head counselor, acts as a caretaker and translator for the horses

nakakita yuma - son of dionysus

brews mead in his cabin with his siblings, flirts with all of the nymphs in the forest, turns campfires into music festivals, keeps threatening to start his own cult, has to be dragged out of bed, king of drunk theater, pretends like he doesn't care about how the grapes are doing this season but secretly tends to them like his children

asakura jo - son of hephaestus

beautiful boy who inherited his mother's looks and his father's master craftsmanship, always in the forge, biggest camp crush, his father's favorite son by far, makes the most gorgeous swords, sleeper build, the person everyone goes to when something breaks, designs a lot of unbuildable objects and somehow makes them happen anyway

shigeta harua - son of aphrodite

being naturally cute and charming helps him control people, super good aim with a bow and arrow, gives great relationship advice, loves matchmaking, doesn't have a single scar on his skin despite being the weakest fighter (he's never really had to learn bc everyone protects him hehe), tends to the rose garden

takayama riki - son of hermes

loves gossiping lol, the friend that's always down for a spontaneous trip, always itching for a quest, knows every shortcut ever, works as a camp medic, constantly pulling pranks on people, most likely to have a small posse of younger kids who worship him, super good at cracking secret codes from intercepted messages

riki mauss - son of apollo

in love with the sound of his own voice (for good reason), literally glows in the sunlight, brags that he's a half-blood LMFAO, wins every chariot race, won't stop flirting with the hunters of artemis bc they're "technically not related," always volunteering to sing at campfires, competes with harua for best archer but lowk always lets him win

I think the fact that there is so many layers to both of their identities and esp their identities in relation to each other that no matter HOW you simplify it its not doing them justice.

They both have a lot of "duality" that boiling either one of them down to one trait/aspect is uninteresting- and esp when Hyuna is portrayed as some domineering figure taking advantage of a helpless Luka it's like,,

To me what's amazing is that Luka and Hyuna BOTH are extremely strong, charismatic characters in their own ways- who are both equally weak and easily "controlled" by the other.

Luka is calculating and ruthless- and so is Hyuna, even if for wildly different reasons. They're both selfish, again, even if in wildly different ways. The perception that Hyuna likes taking care of Luka bc he's weak isn't any more or less controlling than Luka believing he has complete possession of Hyuna just because he loves her.
