This is the Batman we need to see more often. The one who remembers what it was like to be a scared child, one who knows how to handle situations delicately.

One of the reason why I love batman so much. He is portrayed as a very careful and guarded man. But he is probably the most human out of anyone. It’s why he is the knight that gotham deserves. 

I always feel the need to reblog this because it’s definitely something I feel was lost in the Nolan films. 

The thing about Bruce is he believes he is not a good man, but he is.

To quote Red from OSP - “Can you imagine your Batman comforting a scared child? If yes, congratulations, that’s a genuine Batman! If no, you haven’t written Batman, you’ve just written Punisher in a funny hat.”

batman who doesnt care for those who suffer isnt batman, thats just costume punch guy and we have enough of those batman has been written by some people who truly understand how to play your heart like a flute, and he has also been written by people who only know batman as a vauge dark smudge

Terry is literally what bruce would’ve been if his parents didn’t die. Well either that or terry got his sense of humor from his mom.

I love Batman Beyond because it’s basically Spider-Man as Batman with a healthy dosage of cyberpunk.

The best part is this isn’t just Terry fucking with Joker, Terry realized after bats told him “Joker likes to talk” that he likes to talk too. So he decided to answer joker back with something Joker was never expecting. Joker could easily deal with the typical hero “you won’t get away with this” talk or someone being absolutely quiet. But mockery? taking the piss? Telling joker straight up “you ain’t shit?”
