Not sure why I continue to call these live posts if they’re not technically live and rather done after but fuck you it’s our blog and we can do what we want!!! Anyways- So we just read a bunch of Equius being uncontrollably horny for Aradia (very comfy to read xx) and also damn he really programmed romantic feelings in her... Call the Police (drones?) Then there was the reveal of Karkat’s blood colour- He’s so adorable but that poor boy. How was he not culled or something? ;0; He’s still my fav.  Then we met Kanaya finally, I really like her too I love all her fashion and stuff. I already knew the sun on Alternia was like.. SUPER hot (thanks to Friendsim) but I guess jadebloods/Kanaya specifically can stand that weather? I do love hearing about Troll Lore. She fished out a big ol orb with a bunch of troll horns out of her dead lusus- I know mother grubs give birth to all trolls so is that like a big Egg? Guess we’ll find out Then she spoke to the seadwellers, man CC’s text is so hard to read with those H’s ;~; OH YEAH and one thing that really caught me off guard is her saying the R word randomly JHBSKDNFJ I didn’t think that seemed to fit her personality from the minimal I’ve seen but I guess it is a product of its time Anyways I don’t have much more thoughts on anything that happened, I’m excited to finally meet the seadwellers! I’ve really been enjoying homestuck so far! (And haven’t seen the clown in a while, which is always a plus xx) -rainyZephyr (RZ)

Oh boy we just got done with another reading session! We saw some more things that Vriska’s done like using Sollux to kill Aradia (seriously how was she a fan favourite) and how her arm and eye got fucked up. Doc Scratch was revealed and he’s really fuckin cool even though I know literally nothing about him except that he’s omniscient. He’s got a sick design and when he was all freaking out and glitching I was like.. damn... hear me out......... ABGJHNSKD We also got introduced to everyones favourite hemophobe, Equius. I really love his design I’m just like come on man don’t be like that. It was a shorter reading session so there isn’t a lot to report. We left off on someone’s hive on an island so we’re gonna find out who’s in there next time I guess haha. Still in Act 5! These acts are long but I am really enjoying the series. -rainyZephyr (RZ)

This is gonna be a long one because I have a habit of rambling, but here goes! When we first started reading Homestuck I remembered when I first heard about it many people recommended skipping the first couple acts and just getting to the parts with the trolls. As a dumb stupid teenager, I did that and of course missed out on a hell of a lot of context for everything happening (not that it matters cuz as I mentioned previously, I only looked at the pictures for the most part like the toddler I am). Reading it now it’s actually super fun, lots of humour! Of course some things are... dated but looking past this, I still really enjoy it!  When we first got introduced to each kid, my favourite was Rose. As of Act 5, I still really like her and she’s still my favourite, followed closely by John. I do like Jade and Dave a lot too, don’t get me wrong, but they aren’t my favs lol When the trolls were first introduced in their pester logs, my favourite was CG (Karkat as we later find out) but I really loved GC (Terezi) as well. As of Act 5, I still think Karkat is my favourite, but I am really fond of Terezi, Sollux, Tavros and Nepeta. There are still some trolls who haven’t officially been named at the point we’ve read up to but those are my personal favs. Vriska and Gamzee are my least favourites though I think the second one is an unpopular opinion.  I also remember when I first “read” homestuck I skipped the intermission because it was too long. I definitely regret how I consumed this as a teen but I’m really glad to be getting into it properly now! It really is full of quirky characters.  I’m really excited to read more and see where this is all going! I also really adore Vodka Mutini haha. Oh and the animations so far have all been really cool, some amazing music too! And the art- As simplistic as a lot of it is, it really is gorgeous sometimes.  -rainyZephyr (RZ) 

Hello to anyone who might be reading this! I’m rainyZephyr, and my friend who also runs this blog with me is tearyeyedTiny!  After playing Hiveswap acts 1 and 2 together, we decided it’d be cool if we read the entire Homestuck comic together too! We’ve been doing this for a little while now and we are somewhere in Act 5 as of writing this. Yeah, we’re a little late getting this blog started but we didn’t really think of the idea until somewhere in the first intermission with the midnight crew. Basically we’re gonna be liveblogging stuff and talking about the series on this blog! We may revisit old stuff like talking about Hiveswap or previous acts we’ve already been through, but for now it’s just liveblogging and sharing our art/memes. It’s been a long time since either of us used tumblr so bare with us lol We will be tagging spoilers of course for anyone else who is just now getting into Homestuck.  I personally have technically already “read” the comic, but I only looked at the pictures as a kid haha. I’m really enjoying it so far despite some of the more... questionable content that was allowed back then lol. I hope you stick around for whatever we may get into!
