Blaming the poor for being poor is literally the least Christian response possible to poverty. It’s not just bad theology - it is deliberate and willful disobedience to to the will of God. The Gospels are clear. If you aren’t helping the poor, every reasonable chance you get, you aren’t walking the path of Jesus. You’re trampling over it.

But capitalism is God's way of determining who is smart, and who is poor?!?!?!
