"Mom… Mom I won’t make friends, I can already feel it", you whispered in your phone, "….Yeah. N-no, Mom they all have friends already… Yeah… I know but… Mom I’m new here they all know each o-okay… Okay I’ll call you tonight. Bye". You hung up and kept roaming around, trying to avoid making eyecontact with anyone. You laid your back against a wall and shyly looked around, gazing at all these groups of people laughing and shouting. All of a sudden, your eyes met someone else’s. A tall guy had stopped right in front of you and worryingly tried to catch your attention. He was alone too and kind of smiled when you eventually looked at him. He started walking towards you and opened his mouth when he was about five feet away from you.
