Jane's New Digs Redux - A revisited Mini Set.

Im a firm believer that a creator must revisit an old project in order to see how much their abilities and craft have evolved. I started my CC making journey on 2018 driven by the lack of historical CC available at the time. An ambitious Javi dive into the Blender pool without even know what to expect i choosed a very hard project. The Jane's New Digs TS3 Conversion was the first CC i ever made and i'm super proud of that but it didn't reached its full potential so i wanted to updated. Then it hits me, this had even more potential than a full body outfit so.. the Jane's New Digs Redux Mini Set were born.

I decided to separate the pieces, so there are 3 bottoms and 1 top. I modified the jacket to be more versatile and more useful on all the decades, you can use that jacket to create a look from the late 30's to the mid 90's without a problem. I wanted to make the skirt usable with other tops as well so, i made it high waisted that way can tuck easily with many of the EA cropped tops and create that vintage look. Also, made a second skirt that is a a tad shorter than the original and a pair of trousers that will look perfect with the jacket and without it.

(TS4CC) Lady Anne's 1740s Dress

Hello again dears!

Today I present to you... Lady Anne's 1740s Dress! This is inspired by English mantua gowns from that era.

Fem Frame, Adults to Elders

verts:9862/polys:11919, all LODs, texture maps, etc

58 swatches/solid & patterned/color tags

PSD for solids & PSD for patterns included

Disabled for Situation, Disabled for Random

You may have to use 'cas.fulleditmode on' to edit bigger boobas. I have all morphs so, fat and muscle sliders maxed out work just fine, but certain boob shapes just... don't work super well if they're on the larger side. It's not TOO bad, but I wanted to make sure folks were aware of this.

CREDITS:

Skirt and bodice from Sifix's Desdemona dress, sleeves from Sifix's Maria dress.

Palette is based off my Georgian/Federal palette.

Patterns are chinoiserie & block-printed indienne, many of which were patterns you might've found on dresses at the time.

Textures were from Sifix's dresses, some also painted by me; patterns were from Pinterest/wallpaper & fabric reproduction sites.

I DID include some colors/patterns that uhhhh may not be historically accurate, but if I wanted 100% historical accuracy, I wouldn't be playing Sims.
