Oh, my Hockey

I just want to state for the record that Jim Lites is an unprofessional, juvenile, arrogant bully who needs to be knocked down a peg or twenty.

First of all, every hockey statistic known to man says he’s flat-out wrong.

Second, you don’t publicly shame your employees. Period. Full stop. It’s terrible, lazy, ineffective management, regardless of industry.

Tom Gaglardi should also be ashamed of himself for not only condoning but encouraging such asinine tactics.

Are Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin perfect? No. Do they have areas of their game that need improvement? Yes. But that is no excuse to deliberately try to humiliate them in the media. It makes Lites no better than all the armchair GMs who think they can improve a hockey team by tearing down its players on social media. It’s absurd, and the hockey community should not tolerate this sort of behavior.
