One of the accomplishments I am most proud of during my time at Rensselaer. Working with students, we were able to completely revamp the Rensselaer Union website into an attractive, useful information source. Since the February 2015 launch, the website has seen visits per quarter increase from about 6,000 to over 30,000, average site time duration has increased by a minute, and bounce rate has decreased by almost 30%. Hard work and collaboration paid off in a big way!

On a day like today, I need to remind myself that I chose to leave southern California.

You know what kind of sucks about riding a bike? Other than all that pedaling? Bike helmets. Sure, they keep that overrated "brain" from getting splattered, but they take a lot of the open-air-joy out of things, and they're not comfortable. A pair of Swedish women have developed a remarkable solution: the invisible bike helmet.

This is so beyond amazing. Watch the video. It does a great job to peak your interest and wonder what the heck they're talking about, then they hit you with innovation you never say coming. Seriously AMAZING.
