When people were quiet about him, when he was treated like the clubs shame, the jokes of “the wind scored” were funny. The treating of his achievements and his name as something horrifying and unnamable was funny.

But he is being promoted so much. He is being included. He is being lauded over and praised. And with those against him refusing to even name him, his crimes continue to go unspoken to the degree that newer fans don’t know about it.

He is an alleged rapist. He is being taken to courts. He has been arrested for this crime. He is still allowed to play football at the highest level.

I don’t think it’s helping to keep quiet or joking about it. Because it isn’t good. It isn’t a joke. It isn’t funny.

The fact that Arsenal as a club would rather win a ball game than protect the victims of one of their players is shameful. They deserve to be shamed, loudly and without confusion.
