Crying won't make you a baby!!!
I repeat, crying won't make you a baby.
Crying won't make you a kid.
Crying won't make you weak.
A lot of people thinks that if you cry, you're someone that's weak. You can't handle pain. You're immature. Hell nah, if only I can cry again, I would.
So you won't wonder why I said that, I haven't cried for as long as I can remember. I'm still currently struggling with mental and emotional torture but no one knows, because I never cried. I've been happy outside, jolly, talkative. But enough about me. One thing you'll realize is that you need to cry every once in a while, or you'd grow into an emotionless, numb, sometimes rude person. You'd lose self consciousness in terms of identifying if the words you speak or the actions you do can hurt the people around you. Eventually you'd feel guilty if you see someone expressing their hurt for what you are doing, but in the future you still can't avoid that shit because you can't acknowledge your feelings well.
How to avoid that? Cry.
Stop focusing on the people around you. Who cares if you cry out your feelings? It's for you, for your feelings to be acknowledged. If I can describe crying, it's maturity, you stopped caring about what people see in you as long as you were able to express yourself because you cared about yourself. You put yourself first. Sure we cried as a child when we feel physical or even emotional pain and that's normal at that age. But know that crying is normal at any age. We're humans, not robots.
Learn to prioritize yourself. Learn to acknowledge how you feel.
