Johnny boy is never shy.

Hey! I haven't updated in a while, but yesterday I got to go hang out with the goatlings for a bit. I'm so happy that they are filling out so well. I keep thinking about how Johnny was so close to death and how I had to nurse him back to health. But now his muscles are filling out and his little beard is coming in! It's possible we could have babies by fall at this rate.

Wasn't feeling well today, so I stayed home. After my nap I baked some cookies to cheer myself up. Haha.

One year ago today I went and picked up this small little white fluff ball of a puppy to be my big goat protector. We've been through a lot together this past year; selling, deaths, fence hoping, but most importantly births and sunny days. Bonnie, you are ornrey, brave, kind, and goofy, and I love you! Happy 1 year adoption day!

Over a dozen a day right now! We got 38 just the other day!

The kids were having fun jumping on the trailer and truck while my papa and I worked on the fence line. We spent a few hours cutting down tree limbs and vines to cover the old fence with panels so Bonnie would quit escaping. Turned out pretty well, and Bonnie is happily reunited with her goats, so it was a good day!

Sorry if it feels like I literally post the same pictures all the time.. Johnny had his tail up and was very happy and active today. Makes me happy too! Just looking at these pictures gives me hope that, despite being stunted from cocci, he will be okay.

Someone was excited to see me today! I wish I had gotten a video of them running to me today, Johnny sure was bouncing. I was so happy because he is holding his tail up again like a healthy goat should. ...Of course in the pics he has it down because of the wind. But it was pretty chilly today.
