I like the tempo and power of this. By power I mean velocity. It comes at you like a wall of sound at one point, but isn't overbearing. That takes some doing.

Very summery. Plenty of tempo, but not overbearing.

This is a Saturday evening tune, if ever I heard one.

The Temptations were authors to a lot of tunes just dripping in cool, but this is one of the coolest.

I don't normally get caught out by songs like this, but man, does this guy have a presence. Given the context that he killed himself, potentially for a myriad of reasons, but one being unrequited love, it makes me incredibly aware of every word in this song.

Was listening to Q's new album, and this immediately stood out. The most surprising fact about it is that it's been around for a year? Shame on me...

Timeless is a term that shit journalists have bastardized and diluted to practically nothing. But if there was ever music that belonged to such a unique, and short playlist of truly timeless songs, this'd be it.

I've just found this person's music, but it's all pretty great. Can't get enough of the thumping, dirty drums.

If, for some strange reason, I should ever star in some sort of gritty drama, I urge my future self to absolutely insist they use this song as the theme tune.

This is just a genuinely lovely song. Not many other ways to put it...

I'm surprised how committed Timberlake is to this two-songs-in-one thing he's been going for for the past two albums. It's pretty high concept for such a mainstream artist. 20/20 Experience isn't a bad album at all, seems like one that'll get better with more plays. This song stood out for me immediately, though. Production is very tight on this.

Good to hear some old skool-sounding hip-hop in this Chief Keef era of go-hard horse shit.
