I feel like one of the best things I ever did was get into Nas. I didn't think Illmatic was like anything special when I first heard it,, because I was like 14 😭 that shit needed time to kick in, but once it did, it DID yk. The reason Illmatic is so good isn't because any of the songs are particularly stand-out compared to the rest, they're ALL just that good, it's literally just an album of 10 of the best songs ever recorded and he made this when he was 17
