Today was the first day of school for the kindergarteners. During recess one little boy said to me "I like your glasses. Can I try them on?" I said "Thank you! They are very delicate though so I can't let you wear them." He said "Can I have them?" I said "I need them to see." He said "I need them. I can't see." And then started walking around with his hands out in front of him and bumping into stuff. I thought it was pretty hilarious but then over the course of the rest of the day he became more and more intense about it. I was walking down the hall and heard "glasses" and looked up to see him walking by. When I was helping their class in art he kept looking at me and mouthing the word "glasses". He was very serious about it. It felt like some redrum shit. I think I'll make him a replica pair out of cardboard so he can be my adorably creepy little twin.
