Here are the inktober prompts I've done for the last three days!
Inktober day 3: Roasted
My favorite part of camping when I was younger was using those interlocking tray things made of cast iron that you would use to make little toast-pizzas, or grilled cheese. They were always better than the normal version.
Inktober days 1 and 2
Day one: picking mushrooms can be dangerous since you have to be careful with the poisonous ones. 🍄 This one is fly agaric (or fly amanita).
Day two: Currently my life can be really hectic with my job, so for me a tranquil spot would be one where I’m away from everyone and have some peace and quiet. 🌿🏕️🏞️

I had an idea the other day to make a pattern for clothing that’s excited face-huggers going for some nice human faces and jumping happily, so here’s an initial sketch. ^^

Another negative watercolor painting I did (vs the bookmark one) but this one was on a moleskine and was much harder to control the paint, since it would dry so much quicker on the paper. It ended up looking kind of streaky imo.
I don't know if I'd recommend using the watercolor moleskine sketchbook because of this. It's not sized well, and the paper (even though it says it's 25% cotton) is still 75% wood pulp, and it's going to dry fASt. I might end up using it for some acrylics?
Two watercolor bookmarks I made from some thick af watercolor paper I had scraps of. Honestly this shows how much using good paper helps with watercolor because I did a similar negative painting in my moleskine sketchbook (also watercolor paper) and it did not have the same result.
I guess I'll call this finished.
I started these backgrounds the other day and plan on deepening the values today with more layers for the one on the left, and on the one on the right I plan on adding a cloud like the reference I took, below. I got these panels for a dollar each at Walmart and then gesso'd them.
