Thank you, Z! Married life has been a breeze so far. I think we’re still in the honeymoon stage though so I guess that would explain it. Wait… can you still be in a honeymoon stage after being together for two years?

I mean, I’m not really the person you should be asking. But I’ll get back to you on that if I ever manage to date someone for that long.

I cannot believe that I woke up this morning as a mom. I mean, I know this isn’t my first time experiencing this but somehow it still feels entirely different. I’m actually a mom. And a wife. I’m seriously in disbelief and filled with utter happiness.

Gonna be one of the best mommas there is. I’m guessing everything’s been pretty good up to this point?

There’s no better feeling than knowing that I just married my best friend and I get to spend the rest of my life with him. Not to mention that the day was made even more special by the fact that we got married on our two year anniversary. I’m never coming down from cloud nine.

Really am happy for you two, babe. How have the first few days of marital status been?

You’re probably right. Who can focus on work when they have a million and one things going on in their personal life? Maybe, we’ll see. I’m kind of loving staying at home with the twins and Logan a bit too much. It may take some actual effort to get me back to work.

When the right project comes along, I’m sure you’ll be out that door. And if not, I have no doubt Logan will find someway to convince you to get back to it.

I would take some cooking classes if only I weren’t so lazy or busy. One of these days, I will get the hang of living on my own without trouble though.

If that isn’t me. I’ll probably manage everything else just fine but as far as cooking goes, I’ll focus on all thing microwaveable for now.

I’m sure you are the furthest thing from a loser. That word doesn’t seem to apply to you at all. If one of us has to be a loser then, believe me, it’s gonna be me.

Nah, man. I promise you you’re not a loser. You actually seem pretty dope. And if I think you’re cool, then it has to be true.

We only went on like three dates before I had to leave for tour. It’s kind of on hold for the moment and we’ll see where it is maybe when I get back.

Will I ever get to find out who this mystery man is?

That is a good idea because believe me, the hangover in the morning is not worth it in the slightest. I can agree with that. I probably spend all my downtime on tour on my laptop watching something that I’ve seen a hundred times on Netflix. Who needs a man or friends when good entertainment is just a click away?

Don’t you have a man, though? What happened to that guy that you were talking about a couple of months ago?

Isn’t it? I’ve been living by myself for years now. I really should be better at the whole taking care of myself thing but even at 27, I still fail.

I have a bit of an excuse because I’ve only been on my own for less than a year. But I agree with you. We’re in our twenties, we should probably work on being better at living by ourselves.

Being in denial is pointless. I trust that she won’t run wild when she gets older so that makes me feel better. And even if she does, I’ll still love her.

That’s good. It’s words like these that are Father of the Year worthy. She’s a lucky little one.

That is going to be my new motto for life. That depends, is it by any means working?

It’s the best motto there is. Surprisingly, it is or I’m just really desperate to not feel like the ultimate lonely loser.

Normally I’d be bummed about not walking in two fashion week seasons back-to-back but I’m actually not bothered by it this time around. Maybe it’s because I have Jules and Jette to keep me busy or maybe it’s the shit ton of wedding planning I still have left to do that’s keeping me distracted but at this point, I think I’ll be a little disappointed when I have to get back to work.

I definitely think it’s because you have a lot on your plate right now that’s keeping you occupied. Just wait until you’re done with all the wedding planning and you have a little more free time, you’ll be ready to get back out there.
