When I sit down at gigs, or to work on commissions I typically like to warm up with a quick drawing or two.  Preferably I enjoy drawing from life, as opposed to from my imagination.  But many times there arent any people in the library, cafe, park, or studio you’re sitting.  

Some might try googling for randos, or celebrities, but this can get tiring and repetitive after the first few sessions.  Enter monoface, the random face generator!

Now with one button you can quickly generate a face to draw, and move on with ease without having to fuss through google’s tiring library of images.  This helps me keep the energy of drawing alive as I can spend more time actually drawing, as opposed to looking for reference.  

It kind of reminds me of quick pose gestures from life drawing (which btw were my favourite drawings to do)
