little damnit man

my ratiorine fwb comic is done! i started this about a year ago and really wanted to challenge myself to illustrate a longer scene with these two, one where you could really see how deeply they care about each other but also their difficulties in putting those feelings into words.

I’d wanted more storyline in the last few. Something more serious, like the season of AURORA. This one delivered. The setting was well done and different than past seasons. I especially liked the view riding the boat out of the harbor in the evening.

The expressions on Sky’s versions of Johanna, Vincent and Theo were melancholy, the merging of the settings with brushstrokes, the lighting, it was all pleasantly different and provided more mature content for us old farts. I hope it got some of the young farts interested in art, classic or contemporary.
