we're so inexplicably back

dan has been on already so maybe it is slightly too cravenly promotional to have him back to plug another tour for the kind of 'authentic getting to understand someone' brand of isadw. on the other hand though a d&p video would surely do a lot better and also i think without dan there as a buffer the unbridled american emotional earnestness of it all would give phil full body and mind paralysis

my pitch is they should have dan in fake tattoos and rings and ian in a blonde wig with a bad northern accent and randomly switch them out for anthony and phil smosh the sitcom style. but i think they should absolutely not address it at any point. the real kicker here is that they can say anything at all and it will never been clear if it was real or part of the bit which is exactly the kind of gauze-thin plausible deniability they love to torture us with.
